ICON Residential’s land acquisition strategy focuses on the acquisition of properties located in southeastern cities, which have strong job growth, solid housing fundamentals, proximity to job centers and intown neighborhoods that offer prospective townhome buyers the live, work, play lifestyle. We seek to acquire land for development in desirable infill locations in strong sunbelt markets such as: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Tampa Bay, FL; Orlando, FL; Sarasota, FL and any other cities located in the southeastern US that are in an urban/intown location. Our criteria for land acquisitions is as follows:  
  • Between 1-10 acres
  • Well located sites suitable for development of 25-100 total townhome units
  • Zoned or can be rezoned for townhome development.
  • Walking or short driving distance to retail, restaurants, job centers, nightlife, etc.
  • Sites located near institutional luxury multi-family projects
